Independent watchmakers have always held a special place in my heart. From Greubel Forsey to F.P. Journe, I admire their craftsmanship and unorthodox approach to watchmaking. One such watchmaker that stands out is H. Moser & Cie. While they are known for their eccentric creations like the Swiss cheese watch and the Swiss Icons Watch, it’s important not to overlook the impeccable watches they produce with their signature fume dials.

H. Moser x MB&F Collaboration: A Fusion of Technical and Aesthetic Elements

To honor their 15th anniversary, H. Moser & Cie teamed up with another major independent watchmaker, MB&F, to create a magical blend of technical and aesthetic elements from both brands. This collaboration revolves around two different models: the H. Moser x MB&F Endeavour Cylindrical Tourbillon, which is their interpretation of the MB&F FlyingT, and the “Moserized” version of the LM101 from MB&F.

MB&F x Moser LM101: A Familiar Face with a Perfect Balance

If you are familiar with MB&F, the101 is a watch you may recognize. With its suspended balance and Moser’s signature fume dial, it brings a perfect balance of detail and design perspective. The case measures 40mm in diameter and 16mm in thickness, featuring the iconic MB&F domed crystal. The production of the MB&F x H. Moser LM101 is limited to 60 examples, divided into 15 pieces in four colors: funky blue, cosmic green, red, and aqua blue (with the last one being a special edition for retailer Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons).

H. Moser x MB&F Endeavour Cylindrical Tourbillon: A Unique Display of Time

On the other hand, theer x MB&F Endeavour Cylindrical Tourbillon is not meant for everyday wear. features a larger case size of 42mm (compared to the 38.5mm of the FlyingT) and measures 19.5mm in thickness, thanks to its prominently domed sapphire crystal. The watch is available in five different dial configurations: funky blue, burgundy, cosmic green, off-white, and ice blue, with each limited to 15 pieces. Similar to the LM101, the Endeavour also showcases the iconic fume dial. What sets this watch apart is the way the time is displayed. It features a floating sapphire dial that is inclined 40 degrees, offering a view exclusively to the wearer.
